Malmö friskola is seeking a Swedish as a Second Language (SVA) teacher for grades 4–6! We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building teacher in Swedish as a second language for grades 4–6 who wants to help create the best conditions for our students' language and knowledge development. You will be an important part of the teaching team and collaborate closely with colleagues, student support services, and guardians. Responsibilities As a Swedish as a Second Language teacher, you will: plan, implement, and follow up on instruction in Swedish as a second language for students in grades 4–6 work on language and knowledge development in close collaboration with classroom teachers assess and monitor students' language development adapt instruction based on students' needs and circumstances contribute to the school's pedagogical development work create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment About You We are looking for someone who: is a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish as a second language for grades 4–6 has strong knowledge of language-development teaching methods is confident using digital tools in instruction has good collaboration skills and builds positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians works in a structured and solution-focused manner What We Offer an engaged and supportive teaching team opportunities for professional development a workplace where development, safety, and participation are in focus To be considered for an interview, you must be certified and qualified in Swedish as a second language for grades 4-6.
