About the Role The support person is a central function in the 4uvas collaboration model and is aimed at young people who neither work nor study (UVAS). Many in the target group lack a continuous and reliable adult contact; as a support person, you become the person who remains over time, listens, and creates safety throughout the process. You are responsible for the multi-actor assessment of the individual's needs and function as a bridge between the individual and public actors such as social services, employment agencies, and other relevant services. The role is not about replacing existing structures, but about strengthening the connection to them and ensuring that appropriate interventions are activated together with relevant actors. 4UVAS activities are conducted in Lerums municipality, approximately 20 minutes by car from Fryshuset in Göteborg. You are based at Fryshuset Göteborg and work closely with Lerums municipality, where a large part of your daily work is performed. Responsibilities Build and maintain a trusting relationship with disadvantaged youth Conduct and compile multi-actor assessments of the individual's situation and needs Support the individual in creating basic daily structure, such as routines, planning, and responsibility Be a safe support in contacts with actors in the collaboration model and other support services where needed Explain processes, create understanding, and help the individual consent to information sharing Participate in cross-sector actor meetings and contribute the individual's perspective Follow the individual over time, even when other interventions take over About the Work Style The support person comes from civil society, which is a deliberate choice that enables flexibility, relationship-building, and accessibility without government connections. The work requires attentiveness, as the process can take anywhere from a few hours to several months. Target-based working hours. Work in the evenings and on weekends may occur. We are Looking for You If You: Have experience working with young people in vulnerable or complex life situations Are confident, relationship-building, and have a strong ability to inspire trust Understand how lack of structure, motivation, and trust can affect daily life Can work independently but also collaborate closely with other actors Are clear, pedagogical, and can explain complex contexts in an accessible way Share Fryshuset's values and see individual empowerment as central Have relevant education or experience in social work, behavioral science, youth work, or similar.
