About the Position In this role, you will be part of the quality department with an SQM focus, where quality issues related to hydraulic components, systems, and manufacturing suppliers are the primary focus. You will have the opportunity to work with both national and international suppliers and have great opportunities to influence and develop existing practices. The quality department possesses extensive knowledge and high engagement. You will work closely with suppliers of hydraulic components and systems and be an important part in developing quality, processes, and long-term collaborations in this area. The role involves many contact points, both internally and externally, where you drive quality issues at both operational and strategic levels. The position is located within the quality department and reports to the Operations Quality Manager. The role includes multiple trips to suppliers, primarily within Europe. Job Description As a Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) with a focus on hydraulics, you have overall responsibility for long-term development and assurance of quality in the supply chain. The role is strategic and involves you proactively driving quality work together with suppliers and internal functions within the organization. You are a key person who takes a leading role in quality dialogues with suppliers and your own organization's management teams. By building trusting relationships, identifying areas for improvement, and integrating quality at all levels, you contribute to a strong and sustainable supplier base. The role requires you to analyze complex technical contexts, formulate clear reports and recommendations, and implement these into concrete improvement measures. A large part of your daily work involves: Working proactively and long-term with quality strategies toward suppliers of hydraulic components and systems. Conducting qualified quality dialogues at management level with both Swedish and international suppliers. Developing suppliers by initiating and following up on strategic improvement programs. Monitoring supplier performance and identifying risks or recurring problems at an early stage. Driving major and complex failure investigations related to purchased hydraulic components, systems, and services. Conducting supplier assessments and audits and ensuring that results lead to long-term improvements. Compiling, analyzing, and reporting quality results to management and other stakeholders. Being a competence resource and advisor on hydraulic-related quality issues, both internally and externally. Qualifications We are looking for you who want to take a strategic role in supplier quality and contribute to the development of our supplier base. You may have experience from a similar role previously, but we also see that you could come from, for example, hydraulic design, maintenance, production, or technical development and have an interest in growing within quality. We believe you have: Higher education or civil engineering degree, or equivalent professional experience in hydraulics, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or quality. Good technical understanding of hydraulic systems, components, or manufacturing industry. Experience in quality work and a willingness to develop your skills in quality tools and supplier development. Ability to build trust and drive development together with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
