About the Position Montico HR Partner in Katrineholm AB is seeking, on behalf of Nammo Sweden AB, an experienced control and automation technician for the Engineering and Maintenance department at the facility outside Vingåker. Montico is handling the recruitment process, but the final candidate will be offered permanent employment with Nammo. Full-time work, weekdays. Start date by mutual agreement. You will play an important role in ensuring stable and efficient production through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical improvements. You will become part of a skilled work group where different technical competencies complement each other. Collaboration, responsibility, and a strong team spirit are key aspects of the work environment. Job Description As a control and automation technician, you will primarily work with preventive and planned maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and corrective actions in response to production disruptions. The role is broad and includes control systems, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine automation. You will work closely with mechanics, production, and other technical functions to identify root causes and find sustainable long-term solutions. Your main responsibilities include: - Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance - Troubleshoot control systems, sensors, and production equipment - Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine automation - Conduct inspections and contribute to improvement initiatives - Document completed work in the company's maintenance management system - Participate in technical projects and investigations The role involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with other parts of the organization. What We're Looking For We are seeking someone with at least three years of experience in maintenance within process or manufacturing industry. You are experienced in troubleshooting production equipment, managing operational disruptions, and making independent technical assessments. We would like to see that you have: - Experience troubleshooting control systems and production equipment - Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine automation - Knowledge of blueprint reading, measurement technology, and electrical principles - Experience working and documenting in digital maintenance management systems - Valid driver's license (category B) and your own car required for commuting to and from work - Good Swedish language skills and the ability to understand technical English Relevant technical education in electrical, energy, or automation fields is a plus, but your practical experience and technical competence are what matter most.
