JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work as a study mentor involves helping students understand difficult concepts, subjects, and instructions by using the student's native language or strongest school language. You provide support in school subjects by reviewing texts, preparing for exams, and assisting students in understanding assignments. You collaborate with teachers in various subjects and plan and follow up on guidance together with the regular subject teacher to adapt support according to lessons. You demonstrate good learning strategies to students and help build Swedish language skills in parallel with knowledge development. QUALIFICATIONS Good knowledge of Thai and Swedish in speaking, writing, and reading. Experience as a native language teacher, study mentor, or similar position is meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date: 2026-10-05. Working hours: Daytime. Permanent employees in Sävsjö kommun are stationed at their ordinary workplace in case of war.
