Ref: 20261967 Job Responsibilities We are now recruiting a career and academic counselor at Lindångeskolan. The career and academic counselor in primary school guides and informs students and guardians about secondary education, secondary school choices, career opportunities, and the future job market. The counselor stimulates students' interest and curiosity about upcoming choices and directions, and contributes to increasing students' knowledge of working life and its specific demands. Individual counseling with students is part of the role, and group guidance may also occur. The work is often conducted independently and in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, and guidelines. The career and academic counselor collaborates with the student welfare team and other school staff to support students' goal achievement. In connection with prao (Praktisk Arbetslivs Orientering), the counselor may have an active role in the school's work activities. Qualifications You have a university degree as a career and academic counselor. If you have experience working as a career and academic counselor, particularly in primary school, we consider that a merit. You have good insight into the school's goals and governing documents and a high degree of digital competence. We would appreciate it if you have some training or knowledge in a coaching approach. Of course, you maintain a professional demeanor and work toward good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at school. We welcome your application!
