About the Position The position is nationally funded through the National Coordination Group for Dentists' Specialist Training (NSATS) and follows the objectives described in HSLF‑FS 2017:77. The specialist training aims for you to achieve the competency requirements specified in the objective description for the OFM specialty. The education is based on an individual training plan and includes: Clinical patient care within orofacial medicine Theoretical training components such as courses, seminars, and lectures Observations and peripheral training within related medical and dental specialties Scientific work in accordance with regulations Continuous supervision by experienced specialists Upon completion of training and fulfillment of objectives according to HSLF‑FS 2017:77, you will receive a certificate of specialist competence in Orofacial Medicine. About the Workplace Specialist Dental Care Halland operates at hospitals in Halmstad and Varberg, where all dental specialties are represented. The clinic has a long tradition of education, research, and development work. We conduct specialist training and continuing education for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses. The clinic has more than 90 employees. The Department of Orofacial Medicine (OFM) is located in both Halmstad and Varberg. Here, treatment is provided to patients referred from other hospital departments as well as from private and public healthcare providers. Qualifications Requirements: Dental license issued by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare At least two years of general practice converted to full-time, including both pediatric and adult dentistry Swedish and English language proficiency at level C1 Meritorious: When filling the position, SKR's national merit evaluation is applied General practice service up to 5 years full-time Service within the OFM specialty up to 1 year full-time Goal-oriented interest in the specialty through: -Education valuable for the specialist training -Project work and/or own development work such as quality projects -Other healthcare education valuable for specialist training -Further education in relevant areas Scientific merits: up to 2 publications and academic research qualification You are a goal-oriented and communicative person with good collaboration skills.
