Locomotive Operator on Industrial Siding

What to expect: •In accordance with professional qualifications and knowledge of railway transport structure and organization on industrial sidings: -operate and control railway vehicles on the company's industrial siding; -perform switching operations on the siding; -conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance of the motive unit. •Operation of train safety and communication equipment. Knowledge and skills required: •Locomotive Operator License and Certificate •familiarity with documentation and basic railway transport information for switching operations •min. vocational/secondary education with apprenticeship certificate •minimum 5 years of experience in this or similar position •manually skilled, independent, careful, reliable •technically proficient •clean criminal record •good health status What we can offer: •salary based on experience and qualifications •company cafeteria •permanent employment status •5 weeks of vacation •work in a stable company - established since 1847 •work on HPP in single-shift operation, morning shifts 7 – 15 hours, MON-FRI •start IMMEDIATELY (after completion of initial medical examination), or by agreement •contract for a fixed term with possibility of renewal
