Pardubice University, Faculty of Chemical Technology is seeking a new colleague for the position of OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN – MECHANICAL LOCKSMITH, NEUTRALIZATION STATION OPERATOR AND BUILDING MAINTENANCE. Job Description: - Preparation, adjustment and repair of glass, plastic and metal apparatus or their individual components, as well as repair and adjustment of instruments, machinery and equipment to ensure their functionality - Technical support for laboratory exercises and research - Locksmithing, assembly, repair and toolmaking work on machinery and their components - Joining and assembly of parts through bolting, riveting, soldering and various welding methods - Collaboration on assembly and commissioning of prototype equipment - Routine maintenance of technical equipment in faculty workplaces - Operation and servicing of the compressor station - Operation of the neutralization station - Building and technical equipment maintenance Requirements: - Secondary technical education with a vocational diploma in mechanical engineering, locksmithing, operations locksmithing, metal machining, mechanic repair or related technical field - Welding certificate/valid welding authorization and experience in maintaining technical building equipment preferred - Professional competency in electrical engineering according to Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll. at minimum as an instructed person per § 4; electrical technician qualification per § 6 preferred - Willingness and ability to solve non-standard and new tasks - Reliability, independence, attentiveness - Communication skills, helpfulness - Criminal and moral integrity We Offer: - Interesting and responsible work - Pleasant work environment with good accessibility - Compensation according to Pardubice University's Internal Salary Regulations - Meal allowance Expected Start Date: November 1, 2026 or by agreement Initial contact by email.
