314th Air Base Security Company 314th Air Base Security Company is part of the 31st Air Base Battalion at the Helicopter Squadron, Malmen. The company consists of air base security platoons, a sensor platoon, and a dog unit. The company's primary mission is to detect, locate, identify, and counteract security threats to air combat forces. The Air Base Security Company is part of the 31st Air Base Battalion, whose main tasks are the operation of Malmen air base, operation of mobile air bases, and basic training of conscripts. 41st Air Base Security Platoon / IBSS is responsible, among other things, for the standby protection unit for the squadron and its immediate vicinity. The primary mission of IBSS is patrol, surveillance, and operations at protected sites in the local area. In addition, the platoon handles basic tasks in combat and security service within the framework of air base security. Main Job Duties Daily routine service as operations commander involves planning and leading patrol, surveillance, and operations in assigned areas of responsibility. The position involves irregular working hours and/or on-call and weekend duty in shifts, which means the working time is 35h/week. In addition to daily routine service, the operations commander will plan and conduct training days within the scope of both IBSS service and air base security service. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Swedish citizen Category B driver's license (manual) Completed specialist officer training Meets Swedish Armed Forces physical requirements (FM FysS) Valid security guard certificate Meritorious Previous service with security units Previous service as commander of standby protection unit Previous work in protection and surveillance Military driver's license Military police Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who enjoys working in small groups in a routine and sometimes demanding environment.
