About the Role
As a procurement manager, you will work to ensure efficient procurement processes and good availability of goods and services. Depending on your experience and profile, the role can have a more strategic or operational focus, or a combination of both.
You will collaborate closely with internal functions such as production, project management, engineering, quality, and finance while building and developing relationships with suppliers nationally and internationally.
The role offers great variety and opportunity to make an impact, where you will work with everything from negotiations and contracts to delivery tracking, risk management, and development of procurement strategies.
Travel may be required as part of the position.
Responsibilities
Depending on the role's focus, you may work with:
Responsibility for procurement of materials, components, and services
Negotiating prices, terms, and agreements with suppliers
Ensuring delivery accuracy, quality, and cost-effectiveness
Developing and managing supplier relationships
Participating in supplier evaluations and supplier development
Handling operational orders and tracking deliveries
Driving strategic procurement initiatives and category management
Conducting market analyses and identifying new suppliers
Working with cost optimization and risk management within the supply chain
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure operational needs are met

Qualifications
Relevant education in procurement, finance, engineering, logistics, or equivalent work experience
Experience in strategic and/or operational procurement
Experience in negotiations and supplier contacts
Good business and financial understanding
Experience working in business systems
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
Experience from manufacturing industry or technical operations
Experience with international supplier relationships
Experience with contract management, category management, or sourcing
Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or production-related procurement
What We Offer
You are offered a full-time consulting assignment with placement in Linköping. The assignments typically start immediately (taking into account any notice period) and initially run for 6 months to one year, with very good opportunities for extension.
Please note that we do not have the ability to work with subcontractors or other consulting firms. We are therefore looking for you as an employee consultant at Jurek who wants to work within the scope of our consulting activities during the assignment.
The positions are placed in an operation that is subject to security requirements. For employment, it is therefore required that you undergo and are approved in a security clearance according to current regulations.
