About the Position As a Strategic Account Manager at AstraZeneca, you will have an important role in developing strategic customer relationships and identifying local and regional business opportunities within healthcare. You will work closely with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and implement local plans and strategies, with the goal of contributing to increased adherence to medical treatment guidelines. In this role, you are responsible for developing and implementing strategies for prioritized customers, such as hospitals and pharmacies. You gather and compile customer insights, identify growth opportunities, and use data analysis, market research, and tools to track customer interactions and forecast sales. An important part of the work is also to create and maintain strategic partnerships within the relevant therapeutic area. As a Strategic Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include: Develop and implement strategic plans for prioritized customers and stakeholders. Identify local and regional business opportunities and help strengthen AstraZeneca's market position. Work closely with local brand teams and other functions to develop customized strategies. Use customer insights, market data, and analysis to identify opportunities and follow up on results. Work with value-based sales with a focus on clinical, economic, and patient-related outcomes. Build and develop long-term strategic relationships within healthcare. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and healthcare policy. This is a full-time consulting assignment via Adecco starting as soon as possible with an assignment duration of one year. The role is field-based and involves work in Värmland, Örebro, Stockholm, Södermanland, and Dalarna. To be eligible for this position, you need to be based in Stockholm, Uppsala, Örebro, Södermanland, Värmland, or Västmanland. About You We are looking for someone with an academic degree or equivalent in economics or healthcare, along with at least three years of experience from the healthcare sector or pharmaceutical industry. You have a good understanding of the healthcare system, the pharmaceutical industry, and health economics. Experience in cardiology, nephrology, or diabetes is advantageous. You have a Medical Basic Education (MGU) or equivalent and documented experience of driving sales and working in customer-facing contexts. The role also requires experience in project management, understanding of omnichannel work, and experience using data-driven insights to develop working methods and results. As a person, you find it easy to build relationships and enjoy collaborating across functions. You have a development-oriented and adaptable approach to work and can prioritize in a changing environment. You are also comfortable working with digital tools. Important for the position: Valid B-category driving license. Based in Stockholm, Uppsala, Örebro, Södermanland, Värmland, or Västmanland. Academic degree in economics, healthcare, or equivalent field. At least three years of experience from the healthcare sector or pharmaceutical industry. MGU (Medical Basic Education) or equivalent training. Documented experience of driving sales and working successfully in customer-facing contexts. Project management skills, understanding of omnichannel, and experience with data-driven work. Strong presentation and influence skills with various stakeholders. Very good proficiency in Swedish and English. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
