Right now we are seeking support pedagogues/support assistants for one of our group homes within LSS. These are permanent positions. Within the LSS group home, our goal is to give individuals the opportunity to live as others do and participate in community life, and together we work toward an independent, active and meaningful daily life. The services include pedagogical support, delegated health and medical care tasks, and documentation of the individual's development. We also work according to various methods within our services such as AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and LAB (Low Arousal Approach). You will have an interesting job where you get to follow service users where they are in life and where we support them toward independence. Qualifications To succeed in the role of support pedagogue/support assistant, we see that you have: Support pedagogue education or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous work experience in LSS. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and good computer skills. Previous knowledge in challenging behavior, low arousal approach, and/or alternative communication. Class B driver's license and access to a car. It is meritorious if you as a support pedagogue/support assistant also have: Competence in digital support, for example using a tablet as cognitive support in daily life. Experience with social documentation and working according to implementation plans. As a person you are organized, initiative-taking, have good cooperation skills, and a pedagogical approach. It is of great importance that you are attentive to the service user's needs in different situations in order to adapt your approach in a flexible way. Area of Responsibility As a support pedagogue/support assistant you provide support and service based on each individual's needs, circumstances, and wishes. The work can include, for example: Care, communication, service provision, and pedagogical and practical support in daily life. Together with the individual you plan and implement activities and provide support in, for example, personal hygiene, meals, leisure activities, and household chores. Working to create participation, independence, and security in the individual's daily life. Performing delegated health and medical care tasks, documenting in the Combine activity system, and working according to applicable procedures. You also participate in establishing, following, and following up on implementation plans. Terms Work time is scheduled for day, evening, and weekends.
