JOB DUTIES The role of support pedagogue involves creating the opportunity, based on the individual's specific needs and circumstances, to live like others in society through participation, independence and normalization. The support pedagogue shall support, guide and motivate the individual in daily life in order to maintain and develop their abilities. We are currently seeking support pedagogues for day activity and group home services within disability care. In your personal letter, we would like you to specify which service you are interested in or both. The goal of the role is to strengthen the individual's confidence in their own abilities, so that conditions are created for development, as well as security and structure in everyday life. The role is governed primarily by the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice, municipal governance documents and the individual's implementation plan. The target group consists of persons with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism or autism-like conditions as well as persons with mental or physical functional limitations who have a decision on support according to LSS. The role includes contributing to your own, the group's and the organization's development and knowledge. Methodological support and improvement work are part of the role. QUALIFICATIONS Relevant post-secondary education comprising at least one year of full-time studies at vocational university, for example support pedagogue (200 yh) or appropriate bachelor's degree from university or college. Experience in the field is a requirement. The competence gained through education must have been applied in work and preferably with experience in working with persons with disabilities. A driving license is required for positions in group homes. As a person, you have good ability to take initiative and to collaborate. You are calm, attentive and accommodating in your approach. You have interest, willingness and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Interviews are held continuously. If you are called for an interview, you will need to verify your identity in one of the following three ways: - Passport - National ID card showing citizenship - ID card combined with certificate of identity showing citizenship. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you also need to show a valid residence permit and/or work permit in Sweden. To ensure the safety of service users, a police background check for work with elderly persons and persons with disabilities must be presented before employment. You must order the certificate yourself from the Police; the certificate must not be older than six months. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment.
