About the Workplace and Role We are now recruiting a support educator for one of our group homes located in Södra Sandby outside Lund's town center. The unit supports users with varied support needs where some care work is involved. In your role as support educator, you work to improve and provide guidance in pedagogical work. You are responsible for, among other things, planning and follow-up where you, together with our support assistants and pedagogical coordinators, support our users to live the life they wish. The role also includes carrying out and supporting the work team in social documentation, implementation plans, and other documentation, as well as monitoring and evaluating the interventions. You will work as part of the team where regular work takes place while you also serve as extra support for staff. As a support educator, you have dedicated time for pedagogical work, which can include, for example, coaching staff in challenging work situations, keeping up with the latest research on clarifying pedagogy, guiding documentation, or collaborating with other support educators. About Us LSS Housing is divided into 22 management areas. Each manager oversees two to three group or service homes. In addition to Lund's town center, we have homes in Södra Sandby, Stångby, and Veberöd. At our homes, support assistants and support workers are employed. There is one pedagogical coordinator per area who works with overall perspective and quality in pedagogical work. We also have support educators who work close to users while also mentoring staff. Additionally, coordinators, unit administrators, and licensed personnel work with us. The schedule is day/evening/every other weekend with a full-time position of 36.33 h/week. Has experience working with this target group and LSS operations. Has good knowledge and experience of clarifying pedagogy/TEACH. Has good knowledge and experience of low-arousal approaches. Can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Good knowledge of relevant documentation tools. Basic skills in digital work tools. Driver's license is required.
