The Central Stockholm district area consists of the central parts of Stockholm, Norrmalm, and Östermalm. Here we work to provide our 155,000 residents with the best services in preschool, social services, elderly care, and urban development. Welcome to us
The Central Stockholm district administration has 10 service operations spread across addresses in Östermalm and Norrmalm. Our residences are home to people with functional variations within LSS categories 1 and 2.
The residents need support and services in the form of assistance with service tasks and accompaniment to various activities or visits to different care facilities. Decisions are made according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities). The operations work with clear communication both verbally and through pictures and schedules if residents prefer.

We offer you a meaningful and enjoyable six-month temporary position where you'll have the opportunity to support residents to become the best version of themselves.
The operations are located in central Stockholm with good public transportation access.
Your role
As a support assistant/support aide, you work with a salutogenic and person-centered approach, starting from our residents' individual needs and wishes, and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You provide individual or group support based on the person's individual needs and wishes.
An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and independence by creating opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Activities outside the residence are part of the work.
We work with the Stjärnmärkt model, which is a person-centered approach.
Your tasks also include documenting in accordance with LSS legislation. Working hours are primarily day/evening and weekends on a rotating schedule with every other weekend worked.
Your competence and experience
To be considered for the position, you need:
Completed upper secondary education in care and health, or similar
At least 6 months of experience working in group housing LSS 9.9 category 2
Experience documenting according to the Social Services Act
Good physical fitness to actively participate in residents' various activities
Knowledge of mental health disabilities
It is an advantage if you have:
Knowledge of low-arousal approach
Knowledge of dementia diseases
Current work experience from LSS operations or similar
