Description We are now seeking employees for both central Rättvik and Boda Kyrkby. In central Rättvik there are four group homes and in Boda there are two within Functional Support (formerly LSS). We work together to create an operation with high quality where the residents' needs, wishes and right to self-determination are at the center. Job Description As a support assistant, you work closely with the people living in the group home. The support is designed individually and is based on each person's needs, wishes, abilities and implementation plan. An important part of the work is to support without taking over. This means encouraging and creating opportunities for the individual to use and develop their own abilities and to participate in decisions concerning their own daily life. Work tasks are varied and may include: providing individually adapted support in various daily activities working pedagogically and motivatingly to strengthen independence and participation providing support regarding communication, structure and planning participating in leisure activities, social activities and contacts in the community providing support with personal care and other daily activities based on individual needs working based on implementation plans and set goals documenting in accordance with applicable legislation and the operation's procedures cooperating with colleagues, relatives, health care and other important people around the individual actively contributing to the development of the operation's working methods and quality No two workdays are the same. Therefore, the work requires both flexibility and the ability to maintain calm and structure when situations change. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people and who sees each person's possibilities and resources. You should have relevant education such as nursing assistant, support assistant or children's and leisure program (preferably with a focus on pedagogical and social work). It is meriting if you have experience working within LSS or with people with intellectual disabilities, autism or other disabilities. We would like to see that you have knowledge or experience in, for example: Clear pedagogy Alternative and complementary communication (ACC) Low-arousal approaches Pedagogical work based on individual needs Social documentation and implementation plans. To thrive and succeed in the work, you need to be secure, attentive and responsible. You need to be able to adapt your approach according to different people and situations while working in a structured and professional manner. You have patience and the ability to build trusting relationships. You see possibilities and solutions and understand that even small progress can have great significance for the individual. The work is carried out together with others and therefore you also need to have good cooperation skills. You take responsibility for both your own work and for the whole workplace and contribute to an open and respectful work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We want you to: have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as communication and documentation are an important part of the work have basic digital competence be able to work independently while being part of a work team have a professional and respectful approach be based on the individual's self-determination, integrity and participation. B driving license is meriting. Other Information The work is scheduled seven days a week and includes day, evening and weekend shifts.
