We want to strengthen our team with a support assistant who meets the residents of Lund who receive support and services within our LSS operations. About the Workplace and Role We are now recruiting support assistants for one of our LSS units in Lund Municipality. Östra Linerovägen 2 is a group home with seven residents. The target group includes people with IF and NPF diagnoses, brain injuries, and other functional variations. We are a large team with great commitment and focus on our mission. Our residents have significant needs for support based on challenging behavior and personal care. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you are a trained nursing assistant, have experience working with challenging behavior, and comprehensive personal care as heavy lifting occurs. Staffing levels are high and in some areas we work with double coverage. We also see that you are willing to take medication delegation as our residents have varying personal care needs. As a support assistant, you work to ensure that our residents have the opportunity to be as independent as possible and live the life they wish. You support our residents with individually tailored assistance such as shopping, cooking, personal care, and cleaning, as well as leisure activities. Through educational support, alternative communication, and care, you and the work team strive to provide residents with good living conditions. Your duties also include developing implementation plans, documenting, and conducting regular evaluations. As a contact person, you will cooperate and communicate with parents, relatives, legal guardians, and colleagues. About Us Residential LSS is divided into 22 management areas. Each manager has two to three group or service homes in their area. In addition to Lund's city center, we have residences in Södra Sandby, Stångby, and Veberöd. At our residences, support aides and support assistants work. There is a pedagogical coordinator per area who works with the overall perspective and quality of the educational work. We also have support educators who work close to residents while also supervising staff. Additionally, coordinators, unit administrators, and licensed personnel work with us. What We Offer You "I enjoy working with people, finding solutions, and being creative, and you really get to do that in this job.
