Job Responsibilities Do you enjoy variety and meeting many people? Then apply to work with us in our day program! We are now hiring a new team member for our day program on Hisingen. You will be employed at the day program Hotel Team City in central Gothenburg, but will work at multiple units spread across Hisingen. We offer varied work where you will cover for regular staff during absences by working at the unit where you are most needed for the day. You will work at day program units with different focuses and sizes. We have several units where only one staff member works. It is therefore important that you feel comfortable working independently. We have service groups, workplace-based programs, and units with group activities. Several units operate at other employers where a high service level is required to meet the client agreements. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree from the Care and Health Program, support assistant training, or the Children and Leisure Program with a focus on social or educational work. The education requirement is also met if you have post-secondary specialization in the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should include relevant coursework in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer considers equivalent. It is a requirement that you have experience working in day programs and experience working with people with disabilities. It is also advantageous if you have experience from the hotel and restaurant industry and hold a B-level driving license. The position requires good physical capacity as tasks may include lifting and longer walks. Beyond this, we consider it advantageous if you have experience with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), motivational interviewing (MI), and low-arousal approaches (LAB). Knowledge of sign language support and sign language is also advantageous for the position. You need experience and competence in systems such as Treserva, and competence in social documentation. You take responsibility for your tasks and the group's tasks. You think of the people we serve and their wellbeing. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on the results. You are service-oriented, flexible, enjoy juggling multiple priorities, and adapt your approach when circumstances change.
