We are now recruiting two support assistants for Högås Short-Term Care in Vagnhärad who want to work night shifts every other weekend, as well as weekdays during school breaks! Your Assignment As a support assistant, you base your work on the participants' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. As night staff, an important part of the work is being a source of security during the night. Provide support if a participant has difficulty falling asleep or wakes during the night. You are there to increase the sense of security for participants and improve sleep opportunities. There is also some cleaning and administrative work. About Högås Short-Term Care Högås is located in a rural setting between Vagnhärad and Gnesta with many opportunities for activity and relaxation. We serve participants with high-functioning autism and/or ADHD between 7 and 21 years old. Short-term stays occur on weekends from Friday to Sunday with space for 15 participants per weekend. Groups at short-term care are divided by age. At Nytida's short-term care home, we want there to be a good balance between fun activities and relaxation time. During certain breaks, we run camp activities, meaning activities also occur on weekdays. We work based on Nytida's pedagogical framework, which means an individual-centered approach based on low-affect interactions and clarifying pedagogy. Your Experience and Knowledge We guess that you who apply to us: • have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people • are conscientious and have personal maturity • enjoy working nights You have at least upper secondary education in care and health or equivalent education. It is a merit if you have experience working with this target group. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
