Christmas at Kajplats 9 is something truly special! On November 19, we open our doors for this year's big Christmas celebration on the shores of Mälaren in Västerås. This year we're offering our guests an exciting variety – from our large traditional Christmas smorgasbord buffet to exclusive seafood platters served directly at the table, as well as a 3-course vegan menu. Now we're looking for you to deliver an unforgettable service experience to our guests! Kajplats 9 (part of Brasserie Tullhuset AB) is buzzing with life during Christmas. We welcome guests in both our cozy dining room downstairs and in our event space upstairs, Tullkammaren. We're looking for someone who: Has previous serving experience and feels confident in the dining room. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to see every guest, even when the restaurant is full. Is attentive and flexible – one moment you're recommending wine pairings with oysters, the next you're serving hot mulled wine. Has strong team spirit and spreads wonderful Christmas cheer to both guests and colleagues. This position is for extra help as needed during the Christmas season (November 19 through Christmas). Working hours include many evenings and weekends, but starting December 16, we also serve Christmas smorgasbord lunches, which offers the possibility of day shifts.
