We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team in Gällivare to strengthen our stationary operations, including work as a traffic guide security guard. Working as a security guard is perfect if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our office in Gällivare, you'll be part of a close-knit team of around 40 employees. Shift lengths vary, but at this stationary customer, you work shifts, which means work can occur at all hours of the day - day, night, and weekends too. As a stationary security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to one of our customers by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. You often work at the entrance to a larger company, controlling those who pass in and out, but you may also conduct patrols and camera monitoring. As a traffic guide security guard, you are responsible for escorting heavy traffic that is picking up or delivering goods in areas without self-access. The role also includes tasks such as speed checks, sobriety checks, and vehicle inspections. You may work independently, but also in teams, so you must be able to make your own decisions while also being able to cooperate with colleagues to solve any issues and tasks together as a group. You may also work toward patrol operations in this role - but the main focus will be on stationary operations. Missing security guard training? We'll cover it! The basic training is 9 working days long and is conducted at various locations in Sweden before employment begins. As a new employee, you'll also start with an introductory period so you feel confident in your role and can handle our systems. We are safety. We are Securitas.
