Previous experience from, for example, construction, assembly, groundwork, or civil engineering is a merit, but not a requirement. For us, the right attitude, responsibility, and willingness to learn are just as important – we will train the right person.
About the Job
As a fence installer at Svea Areal, you work with the assembly of various types of perimeter protection at our customers' sites. This can range from traditional fences and gates to more advanced solutions for protecting and controlling different areas.
You typically work together with one or more colleagues, but independent work also occurs.
The work is practical, varied, and physical. You work largely outdoors and handle both heavy and bulky materials. At the same time, precision is important – good assembly should not only function well, it should also look good.
Your tasks include:
Assembly of various types of fences and perimeter protection
Assembly of gates and related equipment
Simple groundwork and concrete work
Repair and maintenance of existing installations
Problem-solving and adjustments on site
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work and seeing the results of what you do. You take responsibility for your work, are solution-oriented, and work well with others.
You don't need to know everything from the start. What matters most to us is that you have the right attitude, are reliable, and have the willingness to learn the trade.
For this position, you must:
Have a Class B driver's license
Be able to provide, upon request, a certificate from the criminal record registry
Be hands-on and comfortable with physical work
Be thorough and responsible
Enjoy working both independently and with others
Be comfortable working outdoors during different seasons
It is a merit if you have previous experience from construction, assembly, groundwork, civil engineering, or similar practical work, but it is not a requirement. We will train the right person.
