About the role of Assistant Station Manager As Assistant Station Manager, you are an important part of the station's management and the station manager's closest support in daily operations. The role combines operational work at the station with expanded responsibility for coordinating, prioritizing and following up on daily work. You work closely with the team and are a role model in service, sales and customer relations. Together with the station manager, you contribute to running the station efficiently, safely and profitably while creating a pleasant work environment for employees. The role includes, among other things: • Participate in daily operations and ensure a world-class customer experience. • Support the station manager in planning, coordinating, following up and prioritizing daily work. • Introduce, coach and support employees in daily work. • Ensure that the station follows concepts, procedures, guidelines and legal requirements. • Handle customer matters and contribute to the station's sales, quality and results. • Perform result and key figure analyses and take initiative for station improvements You are a leader and role model at the station every day. When the station manager is not present, you are responsible for operational management and ensure that operations function safely, efficiently and according to set goals and concepts. To succeed in the role, we see that you have a strong customer focus, are comfortable taking responsibility and have the ability to create engagement in the team. You are solution-oriented, communicative and good at building positive relationships. We would like to see that you have experience in service and sales, for example from a fuel station, retail, restaurant or other service business. If you have previous experience in supervisory positions or expanded responsibility in operational activities, that is a merit. Since the station is open early morning to late evening, also on weekends, you need to be open to working varying hours.
