We at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care are now recruiting two resident physicians who are driven in their own knowledge acquisition, independent yet capable of recognizing their limitations.
The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care operates across three hospitals and offers broad clinical experience. We also conduct research and education at various levels for multiple professional groups. Research and education are important to us at the clinic, and we are investing in their continued development. We currently have approximately 60 physicians, of whom over 20 are resident physicians. Several of these will soon become specialists, and we are therefore seeking new residents. In total, the clinic has approximately 450 employees. We would be happy to welcome you for work in anesthesia and intensive care.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include work in the operating room, intensive care unit, pain management unit, and on-call duties. Teaching medical students and other professional groups is part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed physician; Swedish AT or BT certification is advantageous.

Since collaboration with other professional categories and operational areas is a very important part of working with us at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, strong collaborative skills are essential. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
About the Position:
The employment is a fixed-term position of 8 months full-time with the possibility of continued permanent employment. You will start as a resident physician with an assigned mentor. Work takes place at all three hospitals in Region Örebro County; Universitetssjukhuset Örebro, Lindesbergs lasarett, and Karlskoga lasarett.

About the Operation
The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care operates at the region's three hospitals, Universitetssjukhuset Örebro, Karlskoga lasarett, and Lindesbergs lasarett. It is a large operational area with approximately 400 employees. Our work areas are anesthesia, intensive care, operating room services (postop and day surgery), and a neuro-intermediate unit. At Karlskoga lasarett there is an anesthesia unit, intensive care unit, and a postoperative unit.
