Klövervägen 2, Östersund, Sweden
Do you want to become part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to aspire to and grow in? With us, you contribute to development and growth throughout the region and work to provide the best possible service, care and support for everyone who lives in or visits the region. We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation and commitment, where both broad and specialized expertise are valued. Here you have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience. Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary care is organized into 4 close care areas and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under close care. Each close care area is an economic unit led by a head of operations. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice service, youth clinic and the close care unit Näva, which are all funded by appropriations. Odensala Health Center is now seeking an ST Doctor! To enable us to provide good care to our patients, our district doctors have been given a reduced patient list of 1250 patients with deductions for any side assignments and part-time work, and the ST doctors' patient list has also been reduced – as a new starter you will begin with approximately 450 patients. We work on developing new ways of working within Close Care and specifically Extended Primary Care. Come and be part of this work with us! Our Health Center is located just south of the city center. It is a pleasant workplace that feels familiar despite its size, with approximately 12,000 registered patients and approximately 65 employees. We make use of each other's expertise and create good conditions for patients. District doctors, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants and medical secretaries work here. We also have Child Health and Maternity Care (BVC/MVC) which is part of the Family Center Trädet, staffed with child nurses and midwives. The Health Center also has a psychosocial clinic with several psychologists. In addition, we have a rehabilitation coordinator who works in the team around the sick leave process. The Health Center has two engaged unit managers with shared leadership. We have a good learning environment with extensive experience in supervision for all professional groups. In a quality review of ST training, the following strengths were described, among other things: a wise and action-oriented ST doctor group, a supervisor group with many ideas on how structure can be created for competency assessment and feedback, and an extremely well-functioning study director function that has created the overall conditions needed for ST in general medicine to be conducted in the region. There is a program with several mandatory courses arranged locally. Job shadowing and specialist collegium are conducted at the health center. 2 position(s).
