Region Östergötland's ST training in general medicine is organized by the General Medicine Training Center (AMC), where study directors and training secretaries coordinate side training, arrange courses and education, and participate in developing the ST doctor's training plan. The health centers are located in rural areas south of Linköping and currently have approximately 9,000 and 3,000 registered patients respectively. We maintain a development-inspired approach and conduct broad primary care services where we meet patients of all ages with many different symptoms. At the health center there is a doctor's office, specialist nurse offices, nurse office, child health care, psychosocial expertise, rehabilitation coordinator, foot care, and laboratory. We also work closely with paramedics at Movement and Health. We are responsible for a number of care homes as well as palliative care for patients in end-of-life care. We also operate a near-care unit in Kisa together with Kinda municipality where doctors at the health center have admission rights. Doctors at the health centers also staff on-call services year-round. We have well-developed and smooth cooperation with Kinda and Ydre municipalities. Job Description We are seeking an ST doctor in general medicine for our doctor's offices in Kisa and Österbymo, which currently consist of nine and three specialist doctors respectively and four ST doctors in Kisa as well as three specialist doctors in Österbymo. Work placement is at each location according to agreement with the person who receives the position. In Österbymo there is also the option of inexpensive housing in the area. As an ST doctor with us, you will receive regular supervision and in addition to participating in ST meetings, you will have the opportunity to participate in training together with other junior doctors, AT doctors, and ST doctors at the health center. We have very skilled specialist doctors who enjoy mentoring and will help and support you in developing both as a doctor and as an individual. Work Team In Kisa, approximately 45 employees work, and in Österbymo approximately 15 employees. About You You are a licensed doctor and hold a doctor's license issued by Socialstyrelsen as well as Swedish language skills corresponding to documented level Swedish C1. You have completed AT or have approved Basic Competence according to BT. Integrated BT is also possible. You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work.
