We are seeking a first-line manager responsible for Regeneration and Neutralization within Cold Rolling. The section's mission is to ensure the recovery of hydrochloric acid used in the pickling process and to purify process water from operations. The facilities are an important part of SSAB's production and also play a central role in our environmental efforts. The facility is also a Seveso-classified operation, which places high demands on safety, risk awareness, and a systematic approach in daily work. This is a technically advanced operation where leadership and process technology go hand in hand. As section manager, you are responsible for operations, personnel, work environment, environment, economics, and the long-term development of the facilities. Safety is an obvious starting point in the role and an important part of your leadership. The role involves close collaboration with operators, maintenance, process developers, and other support functions. The section consists of 12 employees and is characterized by high competence, strong commitment, and a strong will to solve challenges together. In the coming years, the operation will face several important development initiatives, including ensuring fossil-free operations. Your main areas of responsibility Responsibility for creating results and developing the operation in line with SSAB's strategy, values, and high safety standards. As manager of a Seveso-classified operation, you actively work with risk management, safety culture, and continuous improvements in the safety area. Operational, personnel, work environment, environmental, and budget responsibility for the section. Responsibility as facility owner for operation, availability, development, and long-term management of the regeneration and neutralization facilities. Drive improvement work, investments, and development projects to meet future requirements for production, environment, and safety. Lead the operation through changes and create conditions for continued development together with employees. About you You have technical competence and experience from process industry, chemical industry, maintenance, or other technically advanced operations. You have a good ability to understand, analyze, and develop complex processes and facilities. You have experience in or interest for leadership and enjoy developing both people and operations. You have a high safety mindset and see safety as an obvious part of all work. You have the ability to structure, prioritize, and make decisions in an operation with high demands on availability and quality. You communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
