In the coming years, SSAB Luleå will transform its steel production. This will create new conditions and requirements across all areas related to the physical security of operations. The role means that you will have overall responsibility for security-related matters at SSAB Luleå, both strategically and operationally. An important part of the work will be to develop and clarify working methods, organization, and cooperation within the security area. Your main areas of responsibility Drive and develop how security work will be managed during establishment, implementation, and transition to our future steel production Responsibility for agreements, commitments, and collaborations within the Security area and develop these to meet needs from current and future operations and prevailing security conditions Coordinate and manage projects, updates, and changes within the security area, with budget responsibility Responsible for regulatory contacts within the field You report to and collaborate with the local management group About you We are looking for someone with solid experience in operational and strategic security work with documented strong results. We see that you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English and can communicate effectively in both speech and writing. You are driven, communicative, and can confidently step forward and show the right direction where needed. To succeed in the role, a humble approach is required where you are comfortable working both individually and in teams depending on the task. Driver's license category B is a requirement.
