Spotter / Fire Watch – Data Center | Västerås We are now recruiting 3 committed and security-conscious Spotters/Fire Watchers for an assignment with our client in Västerås. As a Spotter/Fire Watch, you play an important role in contributing to a safe and controlled work environment. You work closely with production and ensure that various work tasks can be completed in a safe and structured manner according to applicable safety procedures. Job Responsibilities Your main job responsibilities may include: Monitoring cordoned-off work areas and ensuring that unauthorized personnel do not pass through during ongoing work. Serving as fire watch during hot work and other work tasks where fire risk exists. Observing the work area and noting any potential risks or deviations. Ensuring that safety zones and cordons are respected. Communicating clearly with installers, contractors, and other personnel on the work site. Acting according to the client's safety regulations and reporting any incidents or risks. Being attentive to the surroundings and intervening or alerting others when necessary. Contributing to order, structure, and a high level of safety on the work site. The work takes place in a professional and safety-critical environment where attention to detail, responsibility, and good judgment are very important. About You We are looking for someone who: Is responsible, thorough, and safety-conscious. Finds it easy to follow instructions and safety procedures. Is attentive and can maintain focus throughout the work task. Is clear and professional in communication. Enjoys working together with other trades and professions. Has a strong safety mindset and dares to speak up when something doesn't follow procedures. Is punctual, reliable, and presentable. Experience from construction, industry, installation, logistics, or similar work environments is a merit. Experience as a fire watch/spotter or equivalent safety work is a plus.
