Parkskolan is a municipal school serving grades 4-9 with after-school activities for grades 4-6. Currently, approximately 340 students attend the school. The school is conveniently located within walking distance of central Östersund and adjoins a park-like area. The role of special education teacher/specialist teacher includes: - Assessing, organizing, and documenting measures for students in need of special support, conducted in collaboration with relevant staff, students, and guardians - Mentoring and supporting staff in developing instruction, making additional adjustments, and providing special support - Working with and teaching students, both individually and in groups As a special education teacher/specialist teacher, you will naturally participate actively in the school's systematic quality work and development of operations—for our students' benefit! Required Qualifications We seek someone who is a certified special education teacher or specialist teacher with experience in the profession and teaching in grades 4–9. You are familiar with the school's mission and operations and have strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. We're Looking for You! It is essential that you can build strong, safe relationships, set boundaries, and work independently. At the same time, the position demands strong collaboration skills, as it involves close cooperation with students, colleagues, and guardians.
