ABOUT THE POSITION Södermalmskolan is now seeking a Special Education Teacher/Specialist. As a Special Education Teacher/Specialist, you will focus on helping students achieve their goals, both individually and at the group level. This work includes educational assessments and the ability to guide teachers in special education interventions. You will work together with other Special Education Teachers/Specialists in the municipality. Other standard duties of the teaching profession are also part of the position. Your placement will be at Södermalmskolan. You will also be part of the student support team, working alongside the school nurse, counselor, and principal. In Lycksele's schools, we operate from the perspective that the student is always in focus, and as a Special Education Teacher/Specialist, your role is to provide students with tools to overcome their challenges.
