About the Role and Your Responsibilities We are seeking a special education teacher with a focus on language, reading, and writing development to work with grades 7-9 at Fäladsgården. Together with our teachers, you will implement and follow up on teaching outcomes at both individual and group levels. In collaboration with other special education teachers and special education specialists at the school, you will also be responsible for student support work at the school-wide level. As a special education teacher: You teach students and work with the learning environment. You support teachers regarding additional accommodations. You conduct assessments of students' need for special support. You write and evaluate support plans. You collaborate with other student support specialists and external partners. A significant part of your work will be in our separate instruction group where you will also serve as team leader. We Are Looking for You We are seeking a certified primary/secondary teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. You hold a special education teacher diploma with a focus on language, reading, and writing development. You have experience writing assessments of students' special support needs, creating support plans, and evaluating them. Additionally, you have worked as a teaching teacher at the secondary level. As a special education teacher, you must be able to teach, monitor, and assess students' language, writing, and reading development. Therefore, you need strong language skills both orally and in writing in Swedish. As a colleague, you manage yourself in your role. You easily build good relationships and enjoy varied work with significant responsibility. You have good collaboration skills and are both flexible and curious. In the classroom, you demonstrate clear leadership. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. It is an advantage if you have experience with separate instruction groups and students with various neuropsychiatric disabilities.
