JOB DUTIES We are looking for engaged and inspiring special education teachers who are passionate about developing young students' potential! As a special education teacher, your main duties will be: - Plan, implement, and follow up on instruction for students in need of special support, individually or in small groups. - Conduct pedagogical assessments, evaluations, and analyses of students' learning and development. - Contribute special education expertise in developing and following up on intervention programs and other governing documents. - Support and guide teachers and other staff in special education work. - Work preventively and promotively to develop inclusive learning environments in collaboration with educators and student services. - Actively participate in the school's student services team. - Collaborate with guardians and external partners to provide students with the best possible conditions. This position is an expansion as we are in the early stages of expanding our services with a smaller teaching group. The idea is that you, together with an educator, plan for and teach students in a smaller setting. The position may change depending on the needs of our students. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is passionate about students' development and wants to make a real difference in their school day. You have great commitment to inclusion, relationship-building, and accessible learning. We are looking for someone who - Is a certified teacher with a special education degree. - Has good knowledge of accommodations, special support, and intervention programs, and works structurally in accordance with applicable governing documents. - Has experience meeting students in need of support, for example in reading, writing, and mathematics development as well as NPF. - Is comfortable with a consultative working approach and collaborates closely with teaching staff, student services, and school leadership. - Is confident in building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. - Has good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. - Has a solution-focused and positive approach. - Is attentive, flexible, and sees possibilities in each student's circumstances. - Wants to actively contribute to the school's development work around accessible and inclusive learning environments. - Is comfortable using digital tools and compensatory aids as a natural part of instruction. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Meritorious - Previous experience as a special education teacher at the secondary level. - Advanced expertise in language, reading and writing development, or mathematics development. - Experience with documentation, follow-up, and analysis of support measures in digital systems. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-10-05. Working hours: Daytime. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, so the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Start date is 2026-08-31 or by agreement.
