ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a dedicated special education teacher to join our teaching team at Vintertullsskolan – a resource school for students with neuropsychiatric disabilities. As a special education teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to work with students in need of special support in a smaller setting alongside experienced colleagues. You work closely with school leadership, student services, and teaching colleagues to ensure each student progresses as far as possible in their educational development.
This is a permanent, full-time position. We use a probationary period.

Vintertullsskolan is one of Stockholm's oldest resource schools and has worked for over 25 years to support students with neuropsychiatric disabilities, primarily autism spectrum conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, conduct, and follow up specialized instruction in core subjects—Swedish, English, and mathematics—in the school's learning studio, individually and in small groups.
Assess students' need for special support in collaboration with student services, and document the assessment.
Develop intervention plans together with the student, guardians, and teaching staff, and follow up and evaluate the interventions.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You who are a certified teacher with a special education teaching degree, preferably with specialization in Swedish, mathematics, or English. We also welcome teachers with teaching certification and extensive experience in special education work.
You who have experience assessing the need for special support and writing intervention plans.
You who work systematically with planning, documentation, and follow-up.
You who have strong knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities and adapt instruction based on each student's abilities.
You who communicate well and collaborate effectively with others both within and outside the organization.
You who contribute to a good work environment characterized by safety, care, and respect for both staff and students at the school.
