Then we warmly welcome your application! Our specialist team consists of a special education teacher and a specialist teacher with focus on mathematics and language respectively. We are now strengthening our team with an additional specialist teacher position with focus on language, reading, and writing development. We have structured student welfare work where collaboration between professional roles forms the foundation of our work at both individual and group levels, as described in our student welfare plan. Together with school leadership, the specialist team is responsible for ensuring that the school's resource allocation reaches all students based on their needs. As part of the specialist team, you support teachers in assessment situations, conduct evaluations, and establish action plans and intervention programs. The team is also responsible for monitoring the school's screenings and associated interventions. With us, you primarily work with instruction to develop students' knowledge in Swedish. This may include classroom instruction, small group work, or one-on-one teaching. In your role as a specialist teacher, you also support subject teachers in planning, monitoring, and evaluation work related to student learning development. You serve as a sounding board and help create an accessible learning environment in all classrooms. You collaborate with other professional roles and external agencies, and participate in certain student welfare meetings and class conferences. Like others on our staff, you actively supervise outdoor breaks and eat lunch with students for pedagogical purposes several days a week. Are You the One We're Looking For? You hold a teacher certification with focus F-6 and specialist teacher education with focus on language, reading, and writing development. You are familiar with the school's regulatory documents regarding accommodations and special support, and you have the ability to apply these in practice. You have experience mentoring and conducting educational assessments and evaluations. You have experience teaching groups and individual students in grades F-6. You have high competence and base your work on scientific evidence and proven experience You communicate and act in ways that create good relationships You have the ability to influence colleagues to develop their instruction You see solutions, bring new ideas, and work both independently and collaboratively You are positive, responsible, attentive, and engaged. About the Employment Employment Type: Permanent position (40+5) with shared assignment at both schools. Before employment with us, we will ask you to provide an extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal records register. The extract we require is "Work within the school system" and you must request it yourself, which you can find on the police website: Arbete inom skolväsendet | Polismyndigheten Once you have received your extract, you present it to the recruiting manager. The fastest way to get your extract is to use the e-service and order it online with BankID. You must also present a passport or national ID card issued by police at the interview. The Rector's Area Annelund/Olympia consists of two F-6 schools with a combined total of just over 500 students. The schools are located near each other and share a common organization where employees can work at both units.
