Your Responsibilities Help us launch our adapted elementary school at Lina Elementary School! We're looking for someone who wants to help start up and develop the adapted elementary school at Lina Elementary School. This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the beginning and, together with the school's leadership, student services, and colleagues, build an operation where student safety, development, and learning are at the center. Being part of launching our newly built facilities is a great privilege. Together, we create a community and a safe, accessible, and stimulating environment for our students. You have the opportunity to help shape work methods, routines, and instruction and, together with us, build the best adapted elementary school possible. Your role as a teacher in the adapted elementary school is primarily to plan and conduct lessons with students in the class. In close collaboration with teaching assistants, you are responsible for organizing the students' entire school day. You will also work in parallel to develop the students' social development and create good conditions for each student to succeed based on their individual needs and abilities. With us at Lina Elementary School, you will be an important part of building the new operation. You will be part of a team with other teachers in the adapted elementary school and work closely with the school's special education teacher and specialist teacher. As part of the new operation, you will also work closely with the school's leadership and student services. Together, we work to create a well-functioning operation with clear structures, high quality, and a strong community—with students' best interests in focus. Collaboration with guardians and other authorities is an important part of the role and necessary to create the best possible conditions for students' development and learning. Requirements: - We're looking for you who are a licensed special education teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities. Meritorious: - You have experience conducting reading and writing instruction - You have good competence with communication tools, TAKK and AAC for students in this field - You have experience working with children with multiple disabilities We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
