Your Tasks
As a Special Education Teacher in Swedish at Klaraskolan, you will contribute your specialized expertise to the pedagogical work and collaborate with our special education specialist. Together, you will form a strong special education team.
You will work at both group and individual levels, teaching students in small groups or one-on-one.
You will collaborate with teachers and student wellness professionals in preventive, health-promoting, and intervention work.
In your role, you are responsible for screening and assessing students' need for special support in Swedish. You analyze student results together with teachers and propose interventions to meet student needs at both group and individual levels. You work with strategies and structures that support preventive and developmental work, and through high expectations and a positive belief that all students can succeed, you contribute to student learning progression.
We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with teachers on classroom instruction. You contribute to discussions about pedagogical and didactic approaches and methods, and you feel confident in a coaching role.
Together with students, guardians, pedagogical staff, and other collaborative partners, you create favorable conditions for students to succeed.
Your Qualifications
Certified Special Education Teacher with teaching certification in Swedish, preferably with experience from middle school.
