The school has approximately 350 students who, together with teachers, are organized into work teams. Each work team has a support team consisting of a mentor, student coach, special educator, and counselor who work together to create a good learning environment for our students. Albäcksskolan's student health services consist of a school nurse, two counselors, two special educators, and two special education teachers. The student health team meets every week to develop education in interdisciplinary contexts at all levels of the school. This position is a temporary assignment with start date as soon as possible or by agreement. 6 months of temporary assignment with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities Albäcksskolan's vision is a school for all where we work together and learn from each other, both students and educators. Important pieces of the puzzle to achieve this are to constantly develop teaching using proven methods such as cooperative learning, differentiation, language-development approaches, and also to develop digital competence. As a special education teacher in language, reading, and writing, you have overall responsibility for following our analysis routine within language, reading, and writing. The analysis routine aims to have systematic work with both mapping and screening, follow-up, and interventions. In your role as special education teacher, you work with mapping and coaching staff to develop the adaptation of teaching so that all students are given increased opportunities to reach the goals. You also work actively with students at both class, group, and individual levels. You are part of the school's student health services and conduct investigations regarding special support in consultation with the special educators at the school. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a pedagogical education and who is a qualified special education teacher.
