About the job As a specialist nursing assistant, you play a key role in developing and ensuring quality in care and support services. The role involves combining daily care work with special responsibility for mentoring, knowledge transfer, and service development. You serve as a support to colleagues and managers on matters related to nursing care, communication, documentation, and quality work, and you contribute to the orientation of new staff members. Working closely with care recipients, family members, managers, and colleagues, you work to develop initiatives and approaches that promote the individual's health, participation, and independence. We are currently seeking specialist nursing assistants for the following home care services in Gothenburg Municipality: Norra Backa - Visiting address: Selma Lagerlöfs torg 1 Prinsgatan - Visiting address: Prinsgatan 12 Working in home care means you help and support people in their own homes, based on the services that have been decided. Your work contributes to creating security and making it possible for the person receiving home care to manage their daily life as independently as possible. Your tasks are varied and you provide support in daily life. This can include, for example, providing support and guidance with meals, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, or simple activities and household chores. You may also perform certain health and medical care tasks following instruction and delegation from, for example, nurses. The position is a permanent full-time employment. Working hours are daytime and evening shifts, plus work every other weekend. About you Qualifications We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and can present the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or alternatively can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced. Vocational college education of at least 200 credits The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident management in various IT systems, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Norra Backa - specializations in dementia, rehabilitation, geriatrics, or gerontology - requirement for cycling experience Norra Backa - specialization in elderly patients with multiple conditions - requirement for driver's license Prinsgatan - specializations in psychiatry, geriatrics, dementia. Prinsgatan requires that you are familiar with IBIC and the development of implementation plans, and that you have good knowledge of current legislation and organizational values.
