Are you a trained specialist nursing assistant looking for varied work where you can take responsibility? Then this position might be for you! We are now recruiting a specialist nursing assistant for the Zethelius Short-term Unit.
Your responsibilities
As a specialist nursing assistant, you will work alongside colleagues in close contact with customers at the short-term unit. You take your own initiatives and contribute suggestions for improvements while sharing your specialist expertise within the organization. The focus will be on quality and development work. You work from a person-centered approach to ensure that each individual customer receives the best care and that we fulfill our mission.
With your advanced knowledge, you will guide and support customers, their relatives, and colleagues in daily work, assessments, and various complex care situations. In addition to your specialist nursing assistant duties, you will perform standard care tasks to support customers in different ways so they can have a functional and meaningful day.
Your qualifications
We are looking for you who are a fully trained nursing assistant with completed specialist nursing assistant education. You have previous experience working in elderly care and have good knowledge of the Epsilon documentation system. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as well as basic computer skills and IT experience.
We see that you are an empathetic person with the ability to make new connections and can easily adapt to different customers' needs. You have a positive outlook and can see the bigger picture. To thrive in this role, you enjoy being flexible and working independently, where you can make your own decisions at work and are comfortable with change. Furthermore, you are communicative and can both give and receive constructive feedback.
What we offer
The Zethelius Short-term Unit consists of three departments with a combined 46 short-term beds. The care staff includes nursing assistants. The health and medical care staff consists of nurses, an occupational therapist, and a physiotherapist. The facility is located in Bäckby in Västerås and is close to public transportation and a bus stop within a few minutes' walk. The area surrounding the facility offers pleasant walking trails and green spaces.
