At Tunagården care and residential home, you'll have the opportunity to combine care work with development work and mentoring of colleagues. Tunagården is located on Söder, approximately 1.5 kilometers from central Eskilstuna. The home has 129 apartments distributed across 12 units, of which ten are dementia-focused units and two elder care units. We are close to green areas and walking paths, which contributes to a pleasant environment for both residents and employees. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a specialist nursing assistant, you play an important role in developing and ensuring the quality of care on the unit. Through your specialist knowledge, you contribute to strengthening work methods, sharing knowledge, and supporting colleagues in daily work. You work closely with residents and create conditions for a safe, active, and meaningful everyday life based on the individual's needs, wishes, and abilities. The role includes providing personal care, motivating participation in activities, and working person-centered to promote health and well-being. You collaborate with nursing assistants, group leaders, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, managers, and family members to create cohesive support around the resident. You serve as a primary care contact, work with delegated health and care tasks, and are responsible for documentation and follow-up. We use digital work methods to ensure person-centered and needs-adapted care. In Viva, we document and base our work on individual implementation plans, care plans, and current medical records. BPSD is used as a tool to identify and understand the person's needs, resources, and any behavioral and psychological symptoms. In this way, we create a common foundation for how we work with each person. Delegations and signatures are handled digitally in APPVA and Viva Omsorgs app. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are trained as a specialist nursing assistant or who are completing your specialist nursing assistant education shortly. You have experience working in elder care and we would appreciate if you have previously worked in a specialist role. You feel comfortable documenting and using digital systems. Experience with Viva is a merit, as is experience as a BPSD administrator or quality representative. For this position, you need to: • Have experience working in elder care. • Be open to receiving delegation of health and care tasks. • Be able to work day shifts, evenings, and every other weekend. • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You find it easy to collaborate and build trusting relationships with both residents, family members, and colleagues.
