JOB DUTIES Össbygården is a small dementia residence in a homey environment in the countryside. Össbygården is Star-Marked and we are looking for you as a specialist nurse with a focus on dementia. At Össbygården you will combine your work in daily care with an in-depth specialist assignment. You will be an important resource for both our elderly and your colleagues. You will, among other things: • provide methodological support to colleagues in matters concerning dementia, communication, and care work • guide, mentor, and inspire colleagues in working methods and approaches • contribute to reflection, learning, and development in the work group • support the work with implementation plans, documentation, and follow-up • contribute to the introduction and mentoring of new employees, students, and trainees • participate in improvement and development work and help translate new knowledge in the dementia field into practice • collaborate with family members and other professionals. You will also perform regular care duties and delegated health and medical care tasks. Working hours include day and evening shifts and you may also work resource shifts at other units. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • are trained as a specialist nurse with a focus on dementia or equivalent specialist training • are trained as a nurse and can provide evidence from the National Board of Health and Welfare, have experience of work in care and services, preferably in dementia care • have good collaboration skills and a secure, respectful, and person-centered approach • are pedagogically minded and enjoy mentoring, supporting, and inspiring colleagues • are responsible, solution-focused, and confident in working both independently and as part of a team • have good computer skills and are comfortable with digital documentation • hold a B driver's license. It is an asset if you have knowledge of IBIC and experience in mentoring or organizational development.
