Work Tasks As a specialist nursing assistant with a focus on dementia, you have a central role in the operation, where you use your specialist knowledge to strengthen and develop care for people with dementia in ordinary housing. You contribute to quality and operational development with a focus on person-centered care and family support. You also contribute to ensuring that care measures are based on evidence-based practice. A central part of the role is to be close to the operation and provide support and supervision to colleagues in daily work. When needed, you also participate in regular care work and perform customary nursing assistant tasks. You function as a knowledge resource for colleagues through practical and theoretical support, including in social documentation and development of implementation plans. The role also includes collaboration with licensed personnel and other partners, as well as supporting the responsible manager in development and improvement work within the dementia field. Through your specialist knowledge, you strengthen your colleagues, develop working methods, and contribute to safe care for people with dementia. Qualifications Requirements for the position: Certificate from post-secondary education comprising at least 200 YH or at least 60 HP. The education must have a focus on dementia Nursing assistant training with proof of protected professional title At least 5 years of work experience in healthcare, medical care, or social services Documented knowledge, skills, and experience within the dementia field Experience using the computer as a work tool and aid, and willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems Good Swedish in speech and writing Able to cycle Meritorious for the position: Supervisor training (minimum VO-college level 2 or equivalent) System familiarity with current tools - for example LifeCare, Procapita, Flexite, Senior Alert, and BPSD To fit the role of specialist nursing assistant, you need to be culturally aware and value diversity. You are also self-directed and structured, take responsibility for your tasks, and plan and prioritize your work in an efficient manner.
