Do you have practical experience in industrial surface treatment and want to work more with planning and technical documentation? As a Specialist Planning Coordinator for Surface Treatment, you determine how components for new submarines should be pre-treated and rust-protected – and develop the documentation that guides the work. About the Role As a Specialist Planning Coordinator for Surface Treatment, you read drawings and specifications, interpret applicable standards, and determine which surface treatment requirements apply – from blasting and pre-treatment to finished rust protection. Based on this, you develop work orders and production documentation with time estimates, often using previous documentation as a starting point. Currently, surface treatment is performed by a subcontractor, which sets high demands for clear documentation. The role combines office and production work, and as a planning coordinator, you are the hub connecting design, production, and the supplier. Summary of Tasks: Develop work orders and production documentation for surface and rust protection treatment Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation and identify appropriate surface treatment requirements Navigate standards, guidelines, and governing documents related to surface treatment Adapt documentation to current processes and production conditions Provide technical support to production and contribute to improved work methods and processes About You You are structured and organized and find it easy to keep track of extensive documentation, standards, and records. We are looking for someone with: At least 1–2 years of practical experience in industrial surface and rust protection treatment Experience working from drawings, instructions, and specifications and documenting work Good communication skills in Swedish Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance before employment, which may require certain citizenship Meritorious: Experience planning, coordinating, or project-managing surface treatment work Experience in surface treatment within the marine, process, or manufacturing industry Experience from large-scale and complex development projects Experience in design and development of production documentation About the Company The client company is an established player in the defense industry. In Landskrona, they are building up operations for new submarine construction, where they work with production tools, design analysis, work order planning, and manufacturing documentation. The planning group is growing, and you are coming in at a stage where work methods and production are being shaped. Work is conducted cross-functionally, with close dialogue with engineers, procurement, design, and production.
