About the Operation The IT Support business area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and shared processes in this area. It also oversees services within these areas. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The operation's mandate is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services and telephony to the region's activities. Deliveries occur through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a procuring organization since large portions of the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic journal system, and the unit focuses on healthcare-adjacent management and development work. We are now seeking a specialist for the healthcare-adjacent system management unit. You will work within the Healthcare Support and e-Health management object. The unit is responsible for healthcare-adjacent system management of care systems and e-services via 1177. You work closely with healthcare operations and contribute to ensuring that systems function in the daily work of health and medical care staff. The assignment involves developing, managing, and improving system support. These systems are used for, among other things, care administration, documentation, medication management, orders, test results, and digital services for residents. In this role, you help ensure that solutions support secure working methods, efficient workflows, and usable system support in healthcare's daily operations. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. If needed, the opportunity may be provided for clinical work as part of the position. Work location is Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, or Sollefteå. Work Tasks - Handle matters related to Orbit/PasIva and ensure these are followed up and addressed - Maintain dialogue with super users and operations to capture needs and support system usage - Participate in user forums and collaborate with other regions using Orbit and PasIva - Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager - Quality assure documentation and contribute to maintaining high quality in system data and functionality - Contribute to implementing activities in the management plan according to schedule - Coordinate training needs and plan and conduct training initiatives for operations - Analyze operations' needs and translate these into concrete improvement proposals in systems and working methods - Participate in testing, implementing changes, and version upgrades of the system Qualifications We are seeking someone who - Has post-secondary education in IT, health and medical care, or other education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience - Has experience working with healthcare information systems - Has work experience in healthcare-adjacent system management or similar work - Has strong knowledge of digitalization and how IT support can contribute to operational development - Has experience working independently and managing multiple concurrent tasks - Has strong Swedish language skills in speech and writing - Has a Class B driver's license It is advantageous if you - Have education in system management, IT management models (such as PM3 or ITIL) or information systems - Have clinical education (such as nurse, medical secretary, or equivalent) - Have work experience in system management for care systems, such as Orbit or PasIva - Have work experience in change management, testing, and implementing new system versions - Have work experience planning and conducting training initiatives - Have work experience collaborating with suppliers and external parties - Have strong English language skills in speech and writing For success in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities - Stable - Relationship-building - Collaborative - Self-driven Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the operations most vital to residents' ability to participate in society.
