We are part of a global group with strong market positions in the commercial vehicle industry. We are now seeking a Cutting Processing Specialist for our factory in Kungsör. About the Role As a Cutting Processing Specialist, you will work on developing and optimizing tools, machining methods, and CNC processes with a focus on lower costs, shorter cycle times, and higher productivity. You will have an important role in our improvement efforts and work closely with production, engineering, and our suppliers. You drive testing and development activities forward, evaluate results, and ensure that successful solutions are implemented and standardized in production. A central part of the role is to develop and challenge our suppliers in cutting processing to find the tool solutions and processes that deliver the best results and contribute to competitive cost per produced part. Your main responsibilities include: Drive development of new tool solutions together with suppliers. Plan, conduct, and follow up on tests in production. Optimize CNC programs, cutting data, and machining processes. Work actively to reduce tool costs and cycle times. Ensure that improvements are implemented and standardized. Develop and challenge suppliers in cutting processing. Participate in troubleshooting and technical improvement projects. You will work in close collaboration with operators, VSL, VST, production engineering, Engineering, and suppliers of cutting tools. In the role, you are expected to take initiative, drive activities forward, and ensure that the right expertise is involved to achieve the best possible results. Qualifications Requirements: Experience with CNC machining and cutting tools. Good understanding of cutting data, tool selection, and machining processes. Experience working with technical problem-solving and improvement work. Ability to plan, conduct, and follow up on tests in production. Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Meritorious: Experience optimizing CNC programs and cycle times. Experience with tool testing and development of new tool solutions. Experience collaborating with and developing suppliers in cutting processing. We are looking for someone who is technically curious, driven, and well-organized.
