Specialized Sushi Chef – Full-time Employer: Toonot AB Work Location: Eskilstuna Employment Type: Permanent Position Scope: Full-time Salary: According to current market rates Start Date: Immediate, by agreement About the Position Toonot AB is a growing company and is now seeking a dedicated and experienced specialized sushi chef for our operations in Eskilstuna. As a sushi chef, you will work with the preparation and presentation of Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi and ramen. You will be responsible for maintaining high food quality, handling raw materials safely, and presenting dishes in a professional and appealing manner. Responsibilities Prepare various types of sushi and other Japanese dishes. Prepare ramen and accompanying ingredients. Prep raw materials and ingredients. Present and decorate dishes in a professional manner. Ensure good quality and hygiene in the kitchen. Plan and organize kitchen operations. Contribute to menu development and new dishes. Collaborate with other staff to ensure good service and quality. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: Experience working as a sushi chef or equivalent experience in Japanese cooking. Strong knowledge of sushi preparation. Experience preparing ramen. Knowledge of raw materials, food hygiene, and safe food handling. Ability to present and describe dishes in a professional manner. Ability to work independently and with others. Attention to detail and responsibility. Language Skills Good proficiency in English, Japanese, or Mongolian is a merit for the position.
