Do you want to be part of creating a safe and stable environment where children and young people have the opportunity to develop? We are starting a new residential care home (HVB-hem) in Hudiksvall and are looking for staff members who want to be involved from the beginning. Here you will have the opportunity to influence work methods, approach, and culture together with your colleagues. During the startup phase, the entire work team will have time together for orientation, training, and getting to know each other – we place great emphasis on building a common foundation, both for the children and for us as a team. The activities are aimed at children aged 8–15 years with extensive support needs and include four placements. We offer a home-like and long-term environment where relationships, continuity, and individualized support are in focus. Together you are responsible for clear and predictable interactions, so that children are always met in an equal manner, regardless of who is on duty. Our work is based on understanding each child's needs, building relationships, working preventatively, and creating frameworks that strengthen what works. We are looking for two staff members with expanded responsibilities in the team. You will become part of a new organization with approximately ten staff members. Here you will have the opportunity to shape both your role and the organization's work methods based on your experience and expertise. Work Tasks As a staff member at the residential care home, you work closely with the children and have an important role in creating security, structure, and development. You are a role model who, through your way of acting, communicating, and handling different situations, helps children develop new strategies and find paths to positive change. In the role you will, among other things: create safe and trusting relationships provide care, support, and guidance based on each child's needs support children in daily life, both at home and in society contribute to clear routines, meaningful activities, and an active leisure time document according to applicable requirements coordinate with, for example, schools, social services, and healthcare You will also have expanded responsibility for: planning, mapping, and following up interventions ensuring implemented methods and work approaches guiding and coaching colleagues in daily work coordinating contacts with, for example, schools, social services, and healthcare Your Profile We are looking for you with an academic degree in, for example, social work, behavioral science, care, or another field that the employer deems relevant. You have experience working with people in need of support, for example in psychiatry, schools, residential care, social services, disability services (LSS), or care. You also have experience working with children and young people. Experience from psychiatry is particularly valued. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of methods and approaches such as CBT, PBS, TBA, TMO, MI, low-arousal approaches, or ReSiMa. Experience in leading and coaching staff is also valued. You have very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good documentation experience. A category B driver's license is required. You can build relationships and establish trust over time, are flexible, and adapt to situations and individuals. You have patience and the ability to persevere even when it is challenging, and you value collaboration – where the group is always stronger than the individual. The work requires that you can collaborate well with colleagues and contribute to a common, stable, and warm approach in the team.
