About the workplace In the city, the social welfare department is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable residents to become self-sufficient in life so they can take an active part in society. We are in the process of shaping ourselves according to the new social services with a focus on creating a more accessible social service based on three main areas: Authority, Services and support, and Housing. Security planning according to Signs of Safety is a structured approach used in families where concern about the child's situation is so great that placement outside the home is or risks becoming necessary. Together with the child, family and their network, a security plan is developed that creates conditions for the child to be safe and secure. Based on the team's and network's different roles, close and intensive work is conducted together to build sustainable changes for the child and family. Job responsibilities The Security Team is a new initiative within the social welfare department in Helsingborg. The team's mission is to work with security planning according to Signs of Safety and to conduct intensive change work together with the family and their network. The assignment involves working with security planning and change work in our most complex cases with various specialist competencies and supporting the aspects that the family and network need. In the work there are no ready-made solutions – instead the process is developed together with the family, network and the social service's knowledge of what is needed to create sustainable safety and security for the child. Qualifications An almost complete team The team consists of four social workers and is operationally led by a team leader. Two of the social workers have their primary expertise in authority work and two in family treatment. In cases, we work closely together, where our different competencies complement each other. We have now recruited three of four team members and a team leader, and are therefore looking for one additional social worker with experience in family treatment. Perhaps you have experience in family treatment, open care or other treatment work with children and families and want to use that expertise in an assignment where you work closely with families, lead security planning and strengthen the network's ability to create safety for children. We would like to see that you have experience of the social service's organization. We believe that you Are confident in meeting with people and build trust even in challenging situations. You are curious, ask questions that help others find their own solutions and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
